The new fuel card adds more to the existing system already in place. The card ensures that owners and managers have complete access to what is being spent on fuel by drivers including any related expenses. The arrangement has been made with FleetCor to deliver a billing and payment system, along with personal assistance. The company can also offer training to help savings and optimise control. The system has customisable options too in order to make it more flexible for all involved.
Jeff Lamb spoke up about the programme too, stating that the company FleetCor is very excited to be partnered with FleetMatics to offer a card that integrates with GPS solutions. Customers will have everything they need all in one setup, gaining more insight into how the drivers behave while on company time when that time could be mismanaged or money for fuel could be mismanaged.
FleetMatics is well known for its software as a service or SaaS GPS programme options for small and medium companies. They offer real time information to help cut operation costs and increase customer service to a decent level. They have more than 14,000 customers worldwide. Their devices are on at least 200,000 vehicles right now with real time data packages delivered to the management team. They are headquartered in Atlanta, but also have bases around the world like the one in the UK helping UK based businesses
